Shubham Gajjar

Shubham Gajjar  is an MS student in Artificial Intelligence with a strong background in deep learning and medical AI. During his undergraduate studies, he led projects in brain tumor segmentation using a custom attention-based VGG16–U-Net architecture and in skin cancer classification using hybrid ViT–ResNet models, including an IEEE-published  study. His work involved model design, handling class imbalance, large-scale training on HPC systems, and loss function optimization.

Sukhrobbek Ilyosbekov

I’m Sukhrobbek Ilyosbekov, who is studying Computer Sciences at Northeastern University’s Roux Institute in Portland, Maine. I hope to get my MS in Computer Science this semester.

While studying at Northeastern, I worked at EmTech Care Labs as a Software Engineer Intern for the Spring 2025 semester as part of my co-op experience. I led the development of a web application that streamlines patient data management, improving efficiency by 30%. I also led the migration of Amplify Gen 1 to Amplify Gen 2, enhancing application performance and scalability. Last semester, I worked on a couple of independent deep learning computer vision projects and published them to my GitHub:

My potential research interests are computer vision on medical imaging and explainable AI (xAI).

I obtained my undergraduate degree from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in May 2023. I have also applied for PhD programs at top CS schools for the Fall 2026 semester.

My favorite sport is football, and I spend my spare time playing video games.
